Posts get watched to check they are still up, and what gets stored expires

Delivering on an exchange is not posting: it is the post still being there. A piece deleted after three days meets the letter and not the substance, the same as a story pulled after twenty minutes.

Now posts get checked to confirm they are still up, with their performance graph over time. And when one disappears, it shows: it does not stay marked as delivered for ever because it was there once.

And everything stored about a person has an expiry date. Twenty-four months, with a warning before anything gets deleted — not a silent deletion that takes out the history of somebody who did keep coming back. The policy says exactly what is stored, profile photo included, and for how long.

It is the part nobody shows in a demo and the first thing anyone who knows data protection asks about.
