When and at what hour people buy

Data Science

Everyone knows how many tickets they have sold. Almost nobody knows when they were bought, and that is the information you can act on: if the bulk of your sales comes in during the final seventy-two hours, a campaign launched ten days out is paying for attention that is not deciding anything yet.

There is a section for that: when and at what hour people buy, with the real purchase time recovered from the history rather than estimated. And it can be filtered by the day of the event, because a Friday and a Saturday do not get bought the same way.

What an analysis does with this is compare what is coming against the same point on what has already happened. A total means nothing on its own; the same total against its comparable is a signal.
